Health Tip: “With our whole heart, our whole soul, our whole mind, with our whole strength and fortitude, with our whole understanding, with all our powers, with every effort, every affection, every feeling, every desire and wish, let us love the Lord God. Who has given and gives to each one of us our whole body, our whole soul and our whole life, Who has created, redeemed and will save us by His Mercy alone, Who did and does everything good for us.”
~ from Advent and Christmas Wisdom from St. Francis of Assisi
The Saint Joseph Women's Club has been in existence since the beginning of the church.
From these funds, donations have been made to our Parish Health Ministry, to SJS Tuition Assistance, to the Social Action Committee and to help fund the church landscaping, just to name a few. The Womens' Club is open to all women of our Parish and all members, living and deceased are remembered at the Mass the 2nd Tuesday of each month, which is also the day of the Women's Club regular meeting and our Monthly Potluck Luncheon.
The Neighbors in Christ committee ministers to members of our parish community by providing meals in the event of a funeral. Both the immediate bereaved and the larger social community can benefit from a funeral meal which functions as a group experience that focuses on the needs of the living. It can be a shared experience in a familiar structured setting which enables the living to celebrate the life of the deceased. Any contributions to this ministry are greatly appreciated.
Neighbors in Christ is in need of someone to coordinate the funeral luncheons provided for the families of deceased members of our parish. Duties include organizing volunteers to provide covered dishes and serving during the meal. This ministry is such a blessing to the families in their time of need. If you are interested, please call the church office or Fr. Tomy directly.

A vibrant community of Single Catholics, male and female, looking for a clear path for growth in our personal holiness. We desire avenues for spiritual direction, community building, networking with other like-minded singles who desire the chaste lifestyle and live to witness to the Gospel, sustaining each other through prayer, fasting and Adoration.
Our ages range from 30 to 90+, and we are interested in joining with other Parishes to build a living and loving Community of Singles who are not only looking for a partner in life, but also to support and encourage those who wish to give their lives totally to Christ.
WHAT WE ARE NOT….
WHERE ARE WE?
WHY DID WE FORM THIS GROUP?
The need was seen for a ministry entirely devoted to Catholic singles, due to our need for community, our desire for closeness and intimacy within the framework of the Catholic environment; being an important aspect of the Body of Christ. Our strength is our Singleness. Our desire will be to use it for the Glory of God and the unity of Christ’s Church.
You are welcome to bring your Catholic friends, especially those who are in need of vocational counseling, or those in a committed relationship, but still unmarried.
